Network status

Solana network status — live TPS, epoch & staking

The live state of the Solana blockchain, from read-only public RPC data: TPS (transactions per second), epoch progress, staking rate, validator count, circulating supply and more. Each metric is explained below.

What each metric means

TPS (transactions per second)

How many transactions were processed each second. Solana is built for high throughput via parallel processing and fast block times; the figure shown is the total including vote transactions and moves with real network load.

Epoch & progress

Solana measures time in "epochs" that roll over every ~2-3 days (1 epoch = 432,000 slots). Staking rewards settle at each epoch boundary. The bar shows how far through the current epoch we are.

Slot time

The approximate time to produce one slot (≈ one block) — around 0.4 seconds on Solana. Shorter slot times mean faster confirmation and a snappier feel.

Staked

The share of issued SOL delegated to validators (staking). A higher share is generally read as stronger network security. Estimate staking with the calculator.

Validators

The number of validators helping produce and verify blocks. More validators, well distributed, means less concentration in any single operator.

Circulating supply

The approximate amount of SOL circulating in the market — total supply minus locked amounts, which changes over time with inflation and unlocks.

FAQ

What is Solana's TPS?

It varies constantly with network load. The board at the top shows a live figure from a recent public-RPC sample (total, including vote transactions).

What is a Solana epoch?

Solana's unit of time, rolling over roughly every 2-3 days (432,000 slots). Staking rewards settle at each epoch boundary.

Where do these numbers come from?

Read-only public Solana RPC data, fetched through a cache. They are reference values that move constantly.

Figures are read-only public RPC data — reference values that move constantly. Not investment advice.
